OHJOI Annual Report
The 2025 Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute Annual Report brings together a year of clinical growth, patient outcomes, physician expertise, research, education, community impact and organizational milestones within a single publication.
The challenge was not simply to design individual pages, but to create a flexible editorial system capable of organizing a large volume of highly varied healthcare content while maintaining clarity, visual consistency and a strong Orlando Health brand presence. Across 60 pages, I developed layouts, information graphics, typography treatments and content structures that allowed complex information to feel accessible while giving major stories and achievements the visual emphasis they deserved.
Designing clarity into a highly complex healthcare publication
The report needed to communicate very different types of information within one consistent brand experience: leadership messaging, clinical services, physician profiles, operational data, patient stories, research, education, sports partnerships and community impact. Rather than relying on one repetitive template, the challenge was to create a flexible system that could accommodate dense editorial content, photography, large statistics, specialist rosters and narrative storytelling without sacrificing hierarchy or readability.
One visual system. Many different stories.
The system was intentionally designed to shift between data, clinical information, human stories and institutional achievements. Consistent typography, color and graphic principles create recognition across the report, while flexible compositions give each specialty and story enough visual distinction to remain engaging.
